We first opened our doors way back in 2003. Since then our philosophy has remained exactly the same; freshly cooked, authentic Thai food, served the way it should be – simple and without the fuss! Made the way it is in Street Cafe’s all over Thailand, in a relaxed friendly atmosphere.
Often we are asked why we named our little Cafe Jino’s? Quite simply, Malinee’s maiden name is Jino!
An independent cafe, family owned and run by Malinee, Mark, Nathan, Jasmine and our lovely team. In 1993, Chef Malinee moved from her home in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand, to Leeds with her then husband Paul Brown. After 10 years of hard work they finally had enough money to open up a small Thai Cafe which was the birth of Jinos. A close family friend, Mark joined the business in 2018 to help make Jinos what it is today. Malinee and Paul’s children, Nathan and Jasmine, worked in Jino’s throughout their childhood. After both working in prestigious restaurants around the world, Nathan as Chef & Jasmine as FOH, have returned to Jino’s in 2021.
