About Jino's

We first opened our doors way back in 2003. Since then our philosophy has remained exactly the same; freshly cooked, authentic Thai food, served the way it should be – simple and without the fuss! Made the way it is in Street Cafe’s all over Thailand, in a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

Often we are asked why we named our little Cafe Jino’s? Quite simply, Malinee’s maiden name is Jino!

Who We Are

An independent cafe, family owned and run by Malinee, Mark, Nathan, Jasmine and our lovely team. In 1993, Chef Malinee moved from her home in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand, to Leeds with her then husband Paul Brown. After 10 years of hard work they finally had enough money to open up a small Thai Cafe which was the birth of Jinos in 2003.

"Visited Jino’s so many times ! My go to for thai food! They do not westernise there food like other Thai restaurants in leeds! They are independent and cook all the food fresh! I ordered off the Thai street food menu and it was like I was back in Thailand! You could taste how fresh it was ! Would recommend to anyone! The atmosphere was lovely, a family run restaurant that you couldn’t fault for effort and attention to customers! Excellent 5 star service from the staff and let alone the BYOB!!!"
